L.T. Martial Arts offers a wide array of fitness programs so participants of all ages can be physically active and make new friends in a fun, friendly, and encouraging environment. Our guest instructors guide, motivate, and teach people of all walks of live and ages how to exercise around their unique lifestyle, health concerns, individual body type and current level of fitness. These fitness programs include Tai Chi, Zumba, and Cardio Kickboxing.
Tai Chi is a low impact Chinese martial art practiced primarily for its health benefits. Originally developed for self-defense, it has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that’s now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements, performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi is especially suitable if you’re an older adult who otherwise may not exercise.
Zumba is an exercise fitness program created by Colombian dancer and cyclist/ choreographer Alberto “beto” “Power Pedal” Perez during the 1990’s.
Zumba combines Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system.

Kickboxing is a well-rounded, full-body workout that increases strength, improves coordination, builds lean muscle, accelerates weight loss (you can burn upwards of 600 calories per 1 hour workout), and reduces stress. The training mixes calisthenics and whole body exercises with timed intervals (rounds) on a heavy bag. This “go at your pace” class is accessible to all levels. The class is currently for teenagers and adults only.
